The MOMentum Network has a campus located near UTC, just behind Erlanger downtown, where single moms and their children live, learn and lean on each other. We are looking for a group to help us make Freezer Meals for Single Moms in our program + pack Care kits to encourage Pregnant Students to Persist. This is an indoor activity. We will solicit sponsors for food & self-care items prior to day of & have food & care kit items onsite for you to pack.
(Additional outdoor project- Campus Clean Up also available)
Parking details: on street parking is available around the campus & 4-10 spaces in gravel lot beside/behind housing.
Level of heavy lifting involved: light lifting only
Clothes most appropriate to wear while volunteering: Whatever your comfortable cooking in.
Tools will be provided.
Reminder: bring a water bottle and wear sunscreen if necessary.
Capacity: 2-6 for this project (additional capacity for indoor), please confirm capacity in advance. Teams are welcome, but each individual will need to be registered & sign confidentiality agreement.
