Description

What's often standing between people with cancer and life-saving treatment is a ride to get there.

Volunteers with Road To Recovery use their personal vehicle to drive cancer patients with limited or no transportation to treatments.

Rides are weekdays. We encourage drivers provide 2 rides per month. Choose the rides that work with your schedule. We think you'll find it a flexible and rewarding volunteer experience while helping your community.

Volunteer drivers are ages 18-84 and

  • a safe driving record
  • a current license, reliable vehicle, and vehicle insurance
  • are comfortable using technology

Interested volunteers complete short online training and a background check. Volunteers review available rides via an online scheduling tool.

We would love your help! Connect here &/or check out cancer.org/drive for FAQs and to get started on training. We would love to connect to answer questions and get you started.
