As part of National Public Lands Day, help us spruce up one of our local parks. We'll be picking up litter, removing invasive plants along the trails, and mulching. This is a great opportunity for you to contribute to your community, support your local environment, meet fellow nature-lovers, and get some fresh air and exercise.
Please dress for outdoor work and the weather. Wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, and work gloves. Supplies will be provided. Work will take place on uneven terrain that is primarily natural surface.
Children 12 to 15 should be accompanied by an adult.

On September 30, 2017, join hundreds of thousands of people at public lands sites across the country to take part in the 24th annual NEEF National Public Lands Day (NPLD), sponsored by Toyota. NPLD is the nation's largest, single-day volunteer effort for public lands. Through NPLD, the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) works to connect people to public lands in their community, inspire environmental stewardship, and encourage use of public lands for education, recreation and general health. Lend a hand and have fun at the same time! Your work will help ensure our public lands continue to be beautiful places for all to enjoy!
