Here’s everything you need to know to be prepared:
WHERE TO MEET
- When: 9am to 1pm
- Where:
- Parking: The lot at the corner of S Willow St. and Union Ave.
- Meeting Location: Our tent will be set up at 2101 Union Ave, just across the street from the parking lot.

WHAT TO BRING
- Comfortable and warm clothing you don’t mind getting a little dirty
- Close-toed shoes
- A refillable water bottle
Provided: Tools, gloves, eye protection, water, and coffee & bagels (thanks to our amazing partners at Brothers Bagel!)
We are still accepting food donations on behalf of Sunrise Chattanooga. Please bring any food or hygiene products that you can spare.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- If you have never volunteered with us, a brief planting demonstration at the start of the day.
- You’ll work in small groups of 2–4 people planting trees in the neighborhood
AFTER THE EVENT
Join us for food and drinks at Mean Jeen’s (1800 E Main St, Chattanooga, TN 37404) after we wrap up!
If you are looking for more opportunities to volunteer, we are planting more trees on Dec. 7th, Dec. 13th (morning and afternoon), and Dec. 20th. Sign up now!
