Gratefull is a free, city-wide Thanksgiving potluck that takes place at one long table in the middle of MLK Boulevard. The event, formerly known as One Table, was started by Causeway in 2014 because we believe that in order to build a city that is an honest reflection of its residents, everyone should be invited to the table. Gratefull is now an annual event in Chattanooga, and has been replicated in six cities across the southeast.
Parking Assistance volunteers will help direct guests needing ADA and senior citizen parking to available spaces located next to the Bessie Smith Cultural Center. Volunteers will also ensure that parking areas remain accessible and organized.
This role includes custom shift times, and volunteers will have an opportunity to take a break and enjoy a meal at the long table.
Parking: There is no on-site parking available for volunteers at the Bessie Smith Cultural Center. Parking information will be provided in our e-mail reminders to volunteers.
