Gratefull is a free, city-wide Thanksgiving potluck that takes place at one long table in the middle of MLK Boulevard. The event, formerly known as One Table, was started by Causeway in 2014 because we believe that in order to build a city that is an honest reflection of its residents, everyone should be invited to the table. Gratefull is now an annual event in Chattanooga, and has been replicated in six cities across the southeast.
Set-Up – Tables & Chairs volunteers will assist with unloading, arranging, and setting up tables and chairs for all guests at Gratefull. The Team Leader will provide a site map with instructions for proper placement of both serving and dining tables, as well as seating.
Volunteers must be able to lift 10+ lbs.
Parking: There is no on-site parking available for volunteers at the Bessie Smith Cultural Center. Parking information will be provided in our e-mail reminders to volunteers.
