Gratefull is a free, city-wide Thanksgiving potluck that takes place at one long table in the middle of MLK Boulevard. The event, formerly known as One Table, was started by Causeway in 2014 because we believe that in order to build a city that is an honest reflection of its residents, everyone should be invited to the table. Gratefull is now an annual event in Chattanooga, and has been replicated in six cities across the southeast. Food Runners will be stationed at each set of serving tables. Volunteers will help run food between the kitchen and tables during the event. This shift will run from 10 AM – 1:30 PM and will require a lot of movement and heavy lifting.
Parking: There is no on-site parking available for volunteers at the Bessie Smith Cultural Center. Parking information will be provided in our e-mail reminders to volunteers.
