Volunteer at Girls Inc. of Chattanooga’s Family Resource Center Trunk or Treat!
Be part of a fun, family-friendly event that celebrates and supports our mission to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Girls Inc. is seeking volunteers to help make our Trunk or Treat a success—from creating a welcoming atmosphere to helping families shop in our boutique.
- Volunteers will assist with tasks such as:
- Candy Prep & Distribution: Get candy ready and hand it out at decorated trunks.
- Atmosphere Helpers & Greeters: Welcome families, guide participants, and create a positive environment.
- Clothing Prep & Boutique Attendants: Organize racks, assist with clothing selection, and reset displays.
- Photo Spot Helpers: Take family photos at our designated photo area.
- Trash Patrol & Clean Up Crew: Keep the space clean and help with post-event breakdown.
- Floaters: Jump in wherever extra support is needed!

Before you volunteer at one of our events, you will need to complete the following. You cannot volunteer with Girls Inc. until you have completed these steps.
- Complete the Girls Inc. of Chattanooga volunteer form on our website, https://www.girlsincofchatt.org/get-involved/become-a-volunteer
- Once you complete the form, the Outreach and Engagement Specialist will contact you to schedule a volunteer orientation.
