Get ready to make a tangible difference in our city's parks! This Day of Caring, we're embarking on an exciting project: building brand new A-frame pavilions for everyone to enjoy. Imagine park-goers relaxing in their hammocks, strung up beneath structures you helped create – that's the impact you can have!
We need six teams of 4-5 dedicated volunteers to bring these pavilions to life. Don't worry about cutting wood; our staff will have all the pieces pre-cut and ready to go. Your role will be the assembly, transforming pre-fab materials into fabulous new park amenities.
Here's what you need to know:
What we're building: A-frame structures for hammocks in city parks.

Your role: Assembling pre-cut wooden components.
Where to park: In the lots beside the Warner Park tennis courts. (in the red circle)
Project location: The gravel lot beside the parking lot. (in the red square)

What to bring: Your own reusable water bottle (we'll have water available too!), closed-toed shoes, and a can-do attitude! If you have the following tools, feel free to bring them with you!:
- Cordless hammer drill with T-25 star bit
- 6' ladder
- 3/4" open ended socket
- Hammer
Join us for a rewarding day of teamwork and community spirit. Your efforts will provide comfortable and inviting spaces for countless residents to enjoy our beautiful parks for years to come. Let's build something great together!
