Bobby Wilson Free Fishing Day 2026!

Want to spend a day outside doing something genuinely fun and meaningful? Join us for Tennessee’s Bobby Wilson Free Fishing Day at Booker T. Washington State Park on Saturday, June 6 starting at 9 AM and help make this event unforgettable for local families and kids. We’re teaming up with National Park Partners and Outdoor Chattanooga for a FREE community fishing celebration, and we need volunteers who are down to get their hands a little dirty and have a lot of fun doing it. Volunteer roles may include helping kids bait hooks (yes, worms involved), assisting first-time anglers, supporting our Junior Ranger activities, and keeping the good vibes going throughout the day.
