Who We Are
Mission: To save as many lives as we can and get them in the best home that we can.
We are an animal rescue that takes in dogs and cats that are abandoned and in need of a temporary home. We accept animals from just about any source and pull from local area shelters. We have a great team of rescuers that go the extra mile. We try to match our families with the animal that would fit into their environment best.
We also distribute donated food/goods to about 100 other animal welfare groups in our region.
What We Do
TiggerTown is an animal rescue that takes in animals that are thrown out to fend for themselves. We accept animals from just about any source and pull from local area shelters.
We spend time with potential adopters to make sure we find the right fit for their needs and desires.
We spend a lot of time working with our animals them to socialize with other animals, play, and be in more of a home-like environment.
They are all exposed to adults, teenagers, kids, vacuum cleaners, regular nail trims, and ear cleanings. Our animals adjust really quickly to an environment change when they go to their furrever home.
We also offer other programs outside of our standard rescue operations.
- Faith Heels Training Program: This is a training program in partnership with Walker State Prison and Obedience Club of Chattanooga. This program rescues and rehabilitates dogs that may otherwise be euthanized while positively impacting the offenders within the facility. Saving offenders and dogs, one life at a time. This program provides housing, basic training and socialization to prepare the dogs for adoptions. Offenders can earn on-the-job training certificates in animal caretaker, dog training and dog groomer. Learn more about this program on our website!
- Paw-Mart: We are a local ambassador of the Greater Good Charities, which is a 501(c)3 national nonprofit organization that works to help people, pets, and the planet by mobilizing in response to need and amplifying the good. Groups can apply to our grant program and when food/supplies are available, we notify the groups of what we are receiving and offer the group the opportunity to participate.
- Disaster Relief: We come alongside shelters and other non-profit animal welfare groups to aid with food and other supplies after a natural disaster.
