Who We Are
Mission: To challenge systemic issues through mentorship and community-building programs in the South Chattanooga Community.
Since 2015, The Net Resource Foundation has cast its net out into the community of South Chattanooga, seeking to revitalize and restore the people of Alton Park through food security, child care, youth mentorship, community programming, and civic engagement.
By way of the Westside Church, The Net Resource Foundation has operated as a non-profit organization seeking to meet its community members where they are. We provide support to individuals and the community alike by responding to first hand feedback and addressing the needs of the whole person. Our organization’s name plays on the parable of the net mentioned in Matthew 13:47, which states, “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind.” We aim to take in what we’re given and respond to the needs of our community from within our community, with the help of our civic partners and programming.
