Who We Are
Mission: To deliver programs and services that promote safety, enhance stability, and inspire hope.
At Partnership for Families, Children and Adults, we are dedicated to building stronger communities by providing comprehensive support to individuals and families at every stage of life so they can achieve their full potential. Since 1877, we have always been driven to deliver essential services that ensure safety, foster stability, and nurture hope across the Tennessee Valley. Our organization has a rich history of serving the Tennessee Valley by providing a diverse array of services tailored to meet the evolving needs of our community.
Our Vision: We envision a community where every individual has the opportunity to live safely, achieve stability, and pursue happiness. We believe in the strength of unity and the potential of each person we serve, dedicating ourselves to building pathways that lead to personal and community transformation.
What We Do
Our comprehensive range of programs provides essential tools and resources aimed at fostering independence, creating stability, and instilling hope throughout our community. Through advocacy, education, and direct support, we address the immediate and long-term needs of the most vulnerable members of our community.
Our Services Include:
Victim Support Services: We offer immediate assistance through a 24/7 crisis hotline, comprehensive care for victims and their children of domestic violence, and specialized support for survivors of sexual assault.
Deaf Services: Our commitment to inclusivity and accessibility for the deaf and hard of hearing community includes providing interpreting services, advocacy for communication and employment rights, and American Sign Language education.
Elder Support Services: We enhance the lives of our elderly neighbors by ensuring their dignity and independence through homemaking support, advocacy for residents in long-term care facilities, and engaging seniors in volunteer opportunities that enrich community life.
Stability Services: We provide comprehensive support to individuals and families at critical life transitions. This includes at-risk youth aging out of foster care, support for homeless young adults, and two-generational support for families seeking employment and financial stability. Additionally, we offer specialized assistance for children who are victims of domestic abuse, helping them recover and rebuild through therapeutic programs tailored to their unique needs.
Our initiatives focus on preventing homelessness, and equipping individuals with the tools necessary to overcome adversity and achieve personal growth. Through these efforts, we aim to build a stronger, more resilient community.
