Tri-State Therapeutic Riding Center

Mission: To offer opportunities for emotional and physical healing, equestrian education, and personal fulfillment through therapeutic horseback riding.

The Tri-State Therapeutic Riding Center (TSTRC) in McDonald, TN, provides equine-assisted therapies and recreational opportunities for individuals of all ages with physical, mental, and emotional disabilities

As the only PATH International Center in the Chattanooga area, the center serves over 200 riders annually, offering a variety of specialized programs such as:

• Reinbow Riders: Focused on individuals with special needs.
• Taking the Lead: Supporting at-risk youth.
• Horses for Heroes: Catering to veterans.
• Reinbow Rehabilitation: Using hippotherapy to assist with physical and emotional rehabilitation.

TSTRC is dedicated to enhancing the lives of its participants by providing therapeutic riding, which improves physical coordination, emotional well-being, and social skills. The center’s work relies on volunteers who assist in different capacities, from providing direct support to the riders to helping with event organization.
