Who We Are
Mission: to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and provide resources to help build a network of support for those impacted by epilepsy as they navigate their journey.
Founded in 1977, the Epilepsy Foundation of Southeast Tennessee is the only organization in the greater Chattanooga and North Georgia area committed to assisting individuals with epilepsy and seizure disorders.
What We Do
Our main programs support those living with epilepsy to continue their care. We provide financial assistance with neurology visits and prescriptions to establish or continue a care plan. We also help with transportation assistance for those who have a lack of a reliable method to get to work, school, or more.
We are hoping to reestablish a support group for those who are living or affected by epilepsy. This is being reimagined to be of more productive and increase attendance.
We also have community gatherings throughout the year that are in sensory friendly environments for those living with epilepsy and their families to attend.
