Down Syndrome Community of Greater Chattanooga (DSCGC)

Mission: To enhance the quality of life throughout the life span for all individuals with Down syndrome in the greater Chattanooga area by providing resources, education, awareness, advocacy, community, and support to these individuals, their families, and the professionals serving them.

The Down Syndrome Community of Greater Chattanooga (DSCGC) is made up of people who have Down syndrome, their family members, and others who care about them in the Chattanooga region. As an affiliate of the National Down Syndrome Society, we envision a world in which all people with Down syndrome have the opportunity to enhance their quality of life, realize their life aspirations, and become valued members of welcoming communities.

The Down Syndrome Community of Greater Chattanooga is proud to serve our local DS community through support, education and awareness. We host inclusive social and fundraising activities throughout the year. We also offer medical and educational/recreational grants, scholarships and awards. We are here to help any way we can!
