Chattanooga Sports Ministries

Who We Are

Mission: To transform the communities of at-risk youth in Chattanooga through athletic engagement, life skills training, and the formation of intentional, Gospel-centered, cross-cultural mentoring relationships.

Founded in 2005, CSM began as an initiative to inspire young adults to mentor at-risk youth using soccer as a tool. Over the years, the organization has expanded its vision to create a healthier and better-connected Chattanooga by providing safe, supportive, and healthy environments for children. Their programs aim to ensure that every child has access to nutritious food, safe activities, an active and intentional support system, and is fully prepared to enter adulthood.

What We Do

Chattanooga Sports Ministries (CSM) offers several programs focused on using sports, primarily soccer, to impact urban youth in Chattanooga through mentorship and community engagement. Their main programs include Spark, a recreational soccer league for children aged 6-12 that operates during the spring and fall, and Forge, a competitive program for boys aged 8-16 that emphasizes skill development and local tournaments. Both programs aim to foster athletic growth while providing opportunities for mentorship, faith-building, and cross-cultural relationships. CSM also organizes various events throughout the year to raise awareness and funds, encouraging community involvement and support.
