As a wall-to-wall CTE and Future Ready school, we are committed to excellence, innovation, belonging, and preparing every Pioneer to thrive. We strive to provide clear, practical expectations that help us work consistently, protect instructional time, and keep students safe. We aim to ensure that every adult and student understand what strong supervision, communication, instruction, and follow-through look like at East Ridge High School.  

Tools & Materials
East Ridge High School will provide:
Paint and painting supplies
Sandpaper
Cleaning supplies
Trash bags
Gloves (limited quantity)

Water will be provided for all volunteers.

Interests:

1. Kitchen Remodel - this kitchen is used by faculty everyday and students on Fridays for our student popcorn Friday celebrations.  We use these celebrations to reinforce positive behaviors that include expressing professional, polite, and productive behaviors.

Removing all dishes from cabinets, light sanding, painting cabinets/ boarder, cleaning & organizing.

2. Wood Workshop – Lifting Level: Light to Moderate

Volunteers may be asked to move small furniture, supplies, or equipment weighing up to approximately 25 pounds. This shop is used by students daily; however, years of accumulated materials and leftover supplies from previous courses and teachers have created a need for organization. Thorough cleaning and decluttering are essential to create a safe, functional, and efficient learning environment for students.

Supervision:
A designated East Ridge High School representative will be on-site throughout the project to provide direction, safety guidance, and project oversight.
