Doggie Days of Summer

A new local event that caters to dogs with special needs: senior / aging, health issues, disabilities, but open to all dogs & dog lovers. This event will provide educational support through speakers & demonstrations, enrichment opportunities, as well as unique product and service vendors that can help owners in caring for their dogs, and specifically special needs dogs.

Support & provide opportunities for local pet vendors, hospitals, & shelters in their efforts Create a village for those caring for special needs dogs Educate new owners on the realities of ownership and offer opportunities for support and success through storytelling, vendors, and on-site veterinary consultations Equip owners with the tools to handle anticipatory grief and stressful difficult situations Opportunity to buy and learn about helpful and supportive products and services Demonstrations from vets and other vendors on recommendations for helpful tips and palliative care Create experiences for memorable and enjoyable moments for special needs dogs
