Who We Are

Mission: To provide Chattanooga’s youth with opportunities to explore and gain insight into their community, career opportunities and to develop a positive outlook on the rest of their life.

Reach One Teach One Uca is an Early Intervention Program that provides Chattanooga’s underserved youth ages 5 to 14 opportunities to gain insight into community and careers. They also provide tutoring, school supplies for kids in need, and even have boys and girls youth basketball teams. Having served time in federal prison, Executive Director Reginald Yearby’s personal life mission is to help, in his words, “heal the community he tried to poison.”

What We Do

ROTO UCA believes that setting and achieving goal is important to the success of our program. We believe that the foundational initiatives and having achieved our goals of having a positive, community involved and meaningful impact on student success, we are moving in the right direction. One of the questions that we ask of participants in the programs is “Are things getting better for you?”
