Chattanooga Free Store

Mission: To practice community care by providing access to basic needs for all, without discrimination or means-testing.

Our organization is non-religious and completely volunteer run. We’re funded by small donations from community members throughout the area. The store was opened to create a space where anyone, especially marginalized people, could get the things they need and find community without being preached at or shamed.

The Chattanooga Free Store is a mutual aid organization located at 1701 Dodson Avenue, Suite A. We operate a storefront where anyone can access things like clothing, food, sexual health items, harm reduction supplies, and more, all for free, and without having to show any form of ID. We are open every week for folks to shop our free closet and to get reproductive health and harm reduction items.
