Who We Are
Mission: To provide courteous and safe door-through-door transportation, enabling seniors to access essential services and maintain their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
MyRide TN Southeast is a program of the Southeast Tennessee Area Agency on Aging and Disability (SETAAAD). The goal of the SETAAAD is to advocate for and to strive to achieve a system of services that allows older persons and persons with disabilities the opportunity for an independent and productive lifespan. This is accomplished through three primary areas of emphasis: Advocacy, Service, and Planning. The SETAAAD hosts many programs such as Meals on Wheels and the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP).
What We Do
MyRide TN Southeast provides volunteer assisted transportation to essential appointments for adults ages 60 and older that are able to walk independently or with a walker or cane. Volunteer drivers are well-screened, background checked, and trained to provide door-through-door customized assistance. Rides are affordable and adaptable to the needs of the rider. MyRide currently provides transportation in Bradley County and Red Bank.
