Each year our goal is to connect individuals to the local community to create a positive impact for our neighbors in a single day. We call this Day of Caring! United Way of Greater Chattanooga coordinates dozens of volunteer projects with agencies across Chattanooga for companies to engage their employees in giving back to the community through volunteerism. This year we are inviting the community to participate in a few of those projects. Gather a group together and come support your community! Project details are below.
This project entails:
- HEAVY DUTY brush and tree trimming and removal. Volunteers will need to be experienced with chain saws and may use their own equipment if preferred. Trees and weeds are very overgrown and are intruding on playground equipment, sheds, and air conditioner unit. After trimmed brush will have to be hauled off as well.
Covid Precautions:
Projects are outdoors so only social distancing. Mask would be required if indoors
