The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga is in need of a group of 6 people to assist us with cleaning the interior spaces of the House, mainly the Great Room and satellite kitchens. We will supply all of the necessary cleaning supplies. There is no heavy lifting involved, though you do need to be able to lift at least 10 lbs. Standing for long periods of time may be required. Volunteers will arrive and park in the fenced lot behind the House, located at 200 Central Ave., Chattanooga, TN 37403. Volunteers will come to the front door and let the greeter know they are here to participate in the Day of Caring project.
About the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga: RMHC of Greater Chattanooga opened it's doors in 1990 with the aim of providing care and resources to families whose children need the services of Erlanger Medical Center. About 85% of families that stay at the House will have a premature child. Our aim is to alleviate a stress medical situation by providing support, housing, meals, and other means of care to families in order that they are able to fully devote themselves to being with their child.
