** VOLUNTEERS MUST REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT AT CSARMY.org/volunteer BEFORE EVENT **
Help us CELEBRATE MLK Day of Service as we prepare essential program materials for 2021. Volunteers will work in small teams of 4-6 people to complete the following special projects at our Donations Warehouse:
Project 1: Organize and store remaining Angel Tree toy donations and additional Christmas items.
Project 2: Inventory pantry, cold weather gear, Beat the Heat, disaster relief, back to school, youth center and other special event materials to be reported to Salvation Army program teams.
Project 3: We're getting ready to move warehouses. This very active crew will help us move 1000's of donated materials in preparation for moving day!
Please keep in mind, this will be a very active day! Volunteers will work in a large, open air warehouse. To ensure a safe environment, face masks and social distancing will be required. Helpers are also encouraged to dress in layers and wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes.
