Description

Connect with us and nature on the South Chickamauga Creek Greenway! We’ll begin the day with a few volunteer service projects along the greenway to help keep this beautiful trail looking its best. After getting your hands dirty, take a closer look at what’s along the greenway with a grassland BioBlitz and recreational opportunities.

Be a part of National Public Lands Day the nation’s largest, single-day volunteer event for public lands. Held annually on the fourth Saturday in September, NPLD brings together hundreds of thousands of individual and organizational volunteers to help restore the country’s public lands.

Partners include City of Chattanooga Water Quality Program, South Chickamauga Creek Greenway Alliance, Trust for Public Land, Southeastern Grasslands Initiative, WildTrails, and Outdoor Chattanooga.
