The Home Fire Campaign is a nationwide initiative to reduce the amount of fire related deaths across the nation. So far, there have been over 110 documented lives saved. Volunteers in this position go into communities to educate people on fire safety, as well as check and install alarms for free. Last year, two of our volunteers installed an alarm on a Saturday in Chattanooga, and the following day a man had a house fire and was able to exit his house safely because of the alarm. All training will be done in the morning.
We will meet at our Chattanooga office-4115 S Access rd. at 9:00am for a brief training, we will go to a neighborhood in Soddy Daisy for the Home Fire Campaign.
