The Hosanna Community is looking for 30 total volunteers to help with our on-going beautification efforts on our campus. Specifically, the volunteers will most likely be broken up into three small groups to complete this project.
- It is anticipated that 10 individuals will be needed to help paint a portion of one of the buildings;
- About 18 volunteers will be needed to help cut-back brush (including on our trail) and to help with maintenance on the property (i.e. lawn care);
- About 2 volunteers are needed for outdoor pressure washing
Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes, long pants and attire they do not mind getting dirty. If weather becomes a concern, all volunteers may be asked to help lead an activity with residents and/or to help with deep cleaning within the facilities/homes.
Supplies/tools (including gloves) to complete the service project will be provided, but any donation of items would be greatly appreciated. Water will be available, but we recommend bringing your own water bottle. Limited sunscreen and bug spray will also be available. Lunch will not be available due to the duration of the day.
Parking is available on-site, but further instructions will be provided closer to the Day of Caring.
Questions, comments, or concerns should be directed to Executive Director Daniel Grzesik at dgrzesik@hosanna-community.org or (423)870-6880.
