Every year WaterWays staff and volunteers go to Bonnaroo following the festival and collect the leftover camping and outdoor gear that would otherwise be tossed in the landfill! We then bring the items back to Chattanooga and sell them at the Gear Closet to raise money for our clean water initiatives.
This year’s Bonnaroo clean up is right around the corner on June 19th and we need plenty of help!! We will be collecting left behind, in good condition, camping gear to bring back to the Gear Closet for our annual Bonnaroo Sale that is happening June 21st. Sooo here’s the breakdown…
-
June 19th, 2023. Meet at the Gear Closet at 8:30 a.m. and carpool and/or drive to the festival grounds with an estimated end time of 4:30 p.m.
-
We need trucks and/or trailers! If you are coming and have this kind of set-up please reply and let us know :)
-
We provide a picnic lunch, water and a shady spot to eat
