Keep Soddy-Daisy Beautiful, a Community Beautification and Improvement Project (CBAIP), is seeking an organized and dedicated Volunteer Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in recruiting, managing, and supporting our fantastic volunteers, who work tirelessly to enhance the beauty and environmental health of communities throughout Hamilton County.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Recruitment Strategies: Create and implement a comprehensive volunteer recruitment plan to attract diverse and dedicated individuals committed to community improvement.
- Volunteer Onboarding and Support: Conduct orientations and provide ongoing training and resources to ensure volunteers are well-equipped and motivated.
- Maintain Volunteer Database: Keep an up-to-date record of volunteer information, including skills, interests, and availability.
- Coordinate Volunteer Assignments: Manage volunteer placements for various projects and events, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Monitor Engagement: Track volunteer satisfaction and engagement, and identify opportunities for recognition and improvement.
- Regular Updates: Participate in meetings with the organization's leadership to share updates on volunteer activities and progress.
- Plan Appreciation Events: Assist in organizing events and activities to show our appreciation for our dedicated volunteers.
Qualifications:
- Community Passion: A strong interest in community beautification and nonprofit work.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience Advantage: Experience in volunteer management or a related field is beneficial but not required.
- Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
