Keep Soddy-Daisy Beautiful, an initiative under the Community Beautification and Improvement Project (CBAIP), is seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to join our Fundraising Committee. We serve the entire Hamilton County area, working on projects that enhance and beautify our communities, promote environmental health, and foster a sense of community pride.
Responsibilities:
- Grant Research and Application: Identify potential grants and assist in applying to secure funding for community enhancement projects across Hamilton County.
- Fundraising Event Management: Plan, organize, and execute both in-person and virtual fundraising events, benefiting various community projects, including our county-wide recycling events, festivals, and beautification efforts.
- Donor Relations: Collaborate with our team to build and maintain relationships with sponsors and potential donors from across the region.
- Campaign Support: Develop strategies for individual giving campaigns and help increase donations to support our mission.
- Committee Engagement: Attend regular committee meetings to discuss goals, progress, and explore new fundraising opportunities that benefit the whole county.
Qualifications:
- Passion for Fundraising: A genuine interest in nonprofit work and a commitment to supporting communities throughout Hamilton County.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience Welcome but Not Required: Previous experience in grant writing, event planning, or donor relations is a plus but not necessary.
