Volunteers are needed to help green|spaces host an Eco-Field Day and Earth Day Celebration at Miller Park on Friday, April 22nd.
Help us celebrate Earth Day with this two-part event!
In the morning, corporate teams will compete in a series of challenges similar to what you did at your school's field day. These challenges, however, have a twist! Each challenge has been modified to include aspects and information about sustainability. For example, the potato sack race has been transformed to a reclaimed coffee sack race! Tug-of-War uses a giant EPB internet cable, making it into a new game: "Tug-O-Watt!"
Following the games is an Earth Day Celebration that is free and open to the public. Live music, eco-vendors, and food trucks will make this event fun and lively!
