Gratefull is a free, city-wide Thanksgiving potluck that takes place at one long table in the middle of MLK Boulevard. The event, formerly known as One Table, was started by Causeway in 2014 because we believe that in order to build a city that is an honest reflection of its residents, everyone should be invited to the table. Gratefull is now an annual event in Chattanooga, and has been replicated in six cities across the southeast.
During event - Servers volunteers will help serve the food to the guests and/or get additional pans of food from the Bessie hall as it needs to be replenished. You will be asked to wear gloves at all times and have hair pulled back with a fastener. Additional instructions on serving sizes and etiquette will be provided at the event. Each person will be provided time to get a plate and enjoy the food at the Gratefull table.
