Gratefull is a free, city-wide Thanksgiving potluck that takes place at one long table in the middle of MLK Boulevard. The event, formerly known as One Table, was started by Causeway in 2014 because we believe that in order to build a city that is an honest reflection of its residents, everyone should be invited to the table. Gratefull is now an annual event in Chattanooga, and has been replicated in six cities across the southeast.
During Event - Green Team: Serve on our green team and help to make Gratefull as eco-friendly as possible! Each set of volunteers will be stationed at a set of trash, recycling and composting bins. You will inform each guest on what to place in each bin. You will have signage to help you know what goes where. When a bin becomes full, you will take the full bag to the drop location (map provided). You will refill the container with a new bag. Volunteers must be able to lift 40+lbs. Volunteers can change out to allow everyone to get food and a seat at the table.
