Help Now! Support Nonprofits Impacted by SNAP Benefit Cut
Dear neighbors,
As the federal shutdown continues, we’re hearing growing concern from families, businesses, schools, and community partners about the impact on SNAP benefits. SNAP is the backbone of food security for more than 34,000 of our neighbors in Greater Chattanooga. When that support is disrupted, the effects are immediate and deeply felt.
Beginning November 1, Tennessee is expected to pause SNAP benefit distribution while federal funding remains unresolved. We know this creates uncertainty for many, and we are committed to keeping you informed and coordinated as the situation evolves.
