Who We Are
Mission: To provide support, resources, and guidance to people experiencing homelessness or housing instability, empowering them to rebuild their lives.
Moving Forward Chattanooga celebrates their 10-year anniversary in 2023. We are women of faith sharing and growing by mentoring other women in their walk toward sustainability. We are an authorized Christian Job Corps (CWC) site. CWJC was recognized in 1999 as an effective welfare to work solution.
What We Do
We encourage women to improve their lives and the lives of generations to come by Equipping, Encouraging, Educating and Empowering women to overcome their past and to move toward achieving their potential.
We teach life skills, job skills, money management, communications skills, and inform of career education opportunities whiling gaining faith in God through His teachings.
Participants who enter unsure and with their confidence low, grow through mentoring and education and graduate as confident, motivated individuals, prepared for a self-sufficient lifestyle, impacted by the love of God and equipped to give back to the community.
