Who We Are
Our mission is to preserve nature, through environmental instructions, emphasis on reduce, reuse and recycle, protecting our waterways, addressing litter control and property maintenance in our community.
What We Do
1-Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day twice a year. 2-Promote Adopt-a-Spot/Adopt-a-Campus 3-Promote America Recycle in local schools 4-Recognize businesses, churches, schools and etc. with the Business Beautification Award monthly. 5- Great America Cleanup-events begin March 1st through May 31st. 6-White Glove Award-presented to students, individuals, teachers, businesses/industries and civic organizations that demonstrate their commitment to preserving the environment. 7- Make A Difference Day- (TN. River Rescue) Remove trash and debris along the Greenway. 8-Spring Cleanup- removal of trash and debris along sections of the Greenway. 9- Go into the schools and teach students why it’s important to protect the environment. 10- Encourage volunteers to serve on one or more of the following committees; Neighborhood, Fundraiser, Education, Business & Industry and Media.
