McMinn County Education Foundation

Mission: To enhance, promote, and support the public schools of McMinn County, their students, and their mission.

Since its inception, the Foundation has coordinated efforts to provide preK-12 teachers with resources over and above those funded with tax dollars by financially supporting programs that enrich student learning, encourage professional development, enhance innovative technological and instructional programs, and provide state of the art facilities to set the standard of excellence in public education.

The McMinn County Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization focused on supporting public education in the McMinn County area of Tennessee. It works in partnership with local school systems and provides various initiatives, including scholarships, grants, and youth programs. The foundation also runs community events like the “Stuff the Bus” campaign and career days for local students. Additionally, they support programs like Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which provides free books to young children.
