Who We Are
Mission: To provide safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered homes for children of families in crisis, and equip and inspire them to live productive Christian lives.
Founded in 1954, Bethel Bible Village began by providing care for six boys in need and has since grown into a Christ-centered ministry supporting children and families in crisis. We believe no child should remain in crisis and provide faith-based solutions to help young people and families experience healing, hope, and a path to stability.
We define “crisis” broadly, addressing issues like neglect, behavioral challenges, gang violence, truancy, emotional trauma, and teen pregnancy. Unlike traditional foster care, Bethel involves parents and guardians, equipping them with training and support to rebuild healthier, more stable homes. Our programs are accredited by ECFA and Charity Navigator, ensuring financial accountability and excellence.
What We Do
Bethel Bible Village offers five unique programs to help children and families overcome challenges and build better futures:
- Life Steps: Provides children ages 5-17 with family-style homes, 24/7 care, counseling, and education in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Promise, First Step: Supports pregnant teens, teen moms, and their children with life skills, parenting guidance, and care.
- Back on Track: Challenges older teen boys to make positive life choices while offering the same care as Life Steps.
- Next Step: Transitional housing and life skills for families with children experiencing temporary homelessness.
- Bethel Christian Academy: An accredited middle and high school offering small classes and personalized attention to help students progress academically and work toward graduation.
Through these programs, Bethel Bible Village provides stability, hope, and tools for a brighter future for children and families in need.
