Needs From: United Way's Volunteer Center

October 13, we joined forces with local businesses, churches, and community organizations to collect canned and shelf-stable food for our neighbors in need.

The food collected during October and November helps fill our pantry for the year ahead by helping families put meals on the table so that no one has to choose between food and other essentials.

Each can donated needs caring hands to get it sorted and ready for our pantry shelves and that’s where you come in!  We’re looking for volunteers to help with food sorting this November. 

Whether you come on your own, with friends, or as a group, your time makes a real difference for families who count on us.

Reductions in federal funding for assistance programs have left many of our families struggling. This season, we’re inviting sponsors to help provide holiday meal boxes for families in need.

A warm, comforting meal not only meets essential needs, it also reminds families that their community cares. You can help by contributing a complete meal box, a grocery gift card, or individual food items to support local families.
