Volunteer: Drive cancer patients to life-saving treatment

What's often standing between people with cancer and life-saving treatment is a ride to get there.

Volunteers with Road To Recovery use their personal vehicle to drive cancer patients with limited or no transportation to treatments. ***The American Cancer Society URGENTLY needs 3 more volunteers.

Rides are weekdays. We encourage drivers provide 2 rides per month. Choose the rides that work with your schedule. We think you'll find it a flexible and rewarding volunteer experience while helping your community.

Volunteer drivers are ages 18-84 and

a safe driving record a current license, reliable vehicle, and vehicle insurance are comfortable using technology

Interested volunteers complete short online training and a background check. Volunteers review available rides via an online scheduling tool.

We would love your help! Connect here &/or check out cancer.org/drive for FAQs and to get started on training. We would love to connect to answer questions and get you started.
