Spending play time with dogs and/or cats. Walking dogs, playing with dogs and cats. Brushing or bathing dogs. Brushing cats. Light maintenance of pet areas might include: mopping up dog accidents, scooping cat litter, sweeping, and light yard duties. 1. We will only be able to accommodate 2-3 student volunteers each day. 2. Two volunteers will be scheduled, and 1 space is available for a one time make up day. Total 3 volunteers a day. 3. Students will only be re-scheduled one time. Please make every effort to keep your time slot as you agreed to. 4. No partial shifts will be scheduled as the need is Monday - Friday, 1 - 5 pm. Four hour blocks of time are available. 5. Remember, the slot you are volunteering in is for you, and you only. We cannot accommodate you bringing a friend, family member, or significant other. No exceptions. 6. We suggest you store your mobile device when checking in at The Ark. If you have an emergency, we can re-schedule your volunteer slot, once per semester. Those who choose not to store their device and are using it during volunteer time, will be given last opportunity to reschedule for later dates.
