Project Overview:
We are excited to invite volunteers to join us for a special Day of Caring at our Kitchen Incubator! This project is focused on deep cleaning our kitchen facilities to ensure a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for our culinary entrepreneurs. Your efforts will directly contribute to the success and sustainability of our shared commercial kitchen, supporting local food-based businesses.
Volunteer Activities:
Volunteers will be divided into groups and assigned specific cleaning tasks to ensure an efficient and thorough cleaning process. The activities will include:
1. Kitchen Cleaning:
- Cleaning all eight stainless steel kitchen stations, stovetops, refrigerators, and other kitchen appliances.
- Cleaning and polishing stainless steel surfaces.
- Emptying, cleaning, and organizing storage cabinets and drawers.
- Wiping and disinfecting walls to remove grease, stains, and buildup.
- Pay particular attention to high-touch areas and hard-to-reach spot.
Volunteer Requirements:
Attire: Please wear comfortable clothing you don't mind getting dirty and closed-toe shoes. We recommend bringing a hat and sunscreen for outdoor cleaning.
Tools and Supplies: All cleaning supplies and equipment will be provided. If you have personal gloves or safety glasses, feel free to bring them.
Health and Safety: Volunteers will receive a brief safety orientation at the beginning of the day. Please follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by the team leaders.
